The Graul Family Part One

Kiana loves spending time with her little sister, Shayla. It gives her great practice for the day when she has her own daughter to read to. Grandpa Sebastian listens in, not wanting to admit that he wouldn't mind being read to as well.

Dorian Lind finds something Vladamir said to him shocking, or maybe it's just Vladamir's old fashioned style that he finds so shocking.

Sebastian listens in as Kiana reads to Shayla again, but this time he is more subtle about it.

Looks like someone got distracted while cooking!

Sebastian and Kiana go on an "adventure" and search for buried treasure. Will they be successful?

Vladamir is tired of having a soft flabby stomach. He wants to get more buff!

Neighbor Maud Jacobs drops by to tell Sebastian that Lyndsey Lind can't come over to visit like she had wanted to.

One day Vladamir decided to get the family a puppy. They'd really been wanting one and they can afford the extra expense now. The little one has already picked out his favorite family member!

Though Vladamir is hard pressed to put the cute little thing down to give anyone else a chance to play with. They named him Duke. He's a Capricorn.

Kiana won the treasure hunt!

Shayla would much rather be in bed than stuck in that chair any longer!

For some reason the boys really don't like Kiana very much.

Sebastian spends as much time with Shayla as he can. That is, when Kiana is not taking up all her time.

Vladamir heads off to work, but he refuses to take off his favorite hat.

Shayla takes the opportunity to snuggle her best buddy, Duke.

But it isn't long before Kiana finds her and grabs a book.

Finally it's time for Shayla to grow up. Soon she'll be able to read for herself.

Vladamir takes some time to help Kiana out with her schoolwork. She gets so distracted by boys and family that often her job and homework get neglected.

Noticing that Shayla put on a great deal of weight, the family has a group exercise session in order to encourage her to slim down.

But the stereo breaks and Sebastian has to fix it.

Shayla is determined to slim down, however, so she gets back to work as soon as she can.

Big sister, Kiana, is still busy striking out with the boys in town.

She was so upset that she started harassing customers at the record store she works at and received a big demotion.

Before long it was Duke's birthday. The family is pleased that he grew up so nicely.

Then Shayla looked down...

And she saw that she was finally successful at dropping her baby fat!

She finally sits down to some more relaxing activities with her big sister.

Now that Duke is older, Vladamir wants to teach him a few things so that he can help the family out by getting a job.

The family decides to start a garden and Kiana gets things started by fertilizing a few garden plots.

And they spruce up their tiny front yard a little bit with some flowers.

Sebastian helps Shayla with her homework since Vladamir is busy with his duties on the force.

Kiana makes another attempt at getting a boyfriend.

But it doesn't work out quite the way she planned.

Frustrated, she bursts into tears in front of her grandfather. He isn't sure what to say to her.

The Jacobs Family Part One

The Jacob's family furniture was moved in and Maud arranged it how she wanted it, but their place still looked very sparse.

Still she and her girls had all the things they absolutely needed. Rachel doesn't seem too impressed with what her mother perceives as the use for the potty, though.

Lois chows down on some goodies while her mother chats with neighbor Vladamir Graul and she doesn't even notice Lyndsey Lind walk by. That Sim sure gets around!

Both girls think their mother is crazy when she starts digging holes in the yard.

Lois really enjoys eating. She chows down on some spaghetti while her nanny ignores her work so she can watch her favorite soap operas. Lois' mother, Maud, got a job in Law Enforcement right away so the nanny had to be hired to watch over the girls while she's away.

Little Rachel is a whiny, stinky,

messy spoiled brat!

Unlike studious older sister, Lois who begs for her mother's help with her homework.

Lets hope Rachael has some better habits when she grows up.

As she sprouts up she watches the ceiling get quite a bit closer to her.

Maud has a terrible day at work and loses her job. She takes it pretty hard and is extremely worried about how she will support her family.

So she resorts to digging more holes to earn some cash.

Rachael has a hard time with her homework, even with her mother's help.

Maud even bought a computer in a desperate attempt to get back on the force but hasn't had any luck.

Lois finally pays some attention to her little sister since she is big enough to play with.

Though the Smustle shall always be one of her favorite ways to let loose!

Showing off for her little sis is a close second, however.

But Rachael refuses to be outdone and she does a somersault.

Lois encourages her by cheering her on, really warming up to the bond forming between them.

Her favorite person is still her mother, however.

But that might not be the truth for long because soon she'll be old enough to be interested in boys.

She chose a simple outfit for now so she'd have an excuse to get out of the house and shop for a new one when they have some extra cash. That won't be easy, however, with her mother still out of work.

Friend and neighbor Rick Todd calls and comes over quite a bit and one day he came on to her.

It'd been ages since she was paid attention to like that so she lost her head and let things get a bit out of hand.

Way too far out of hand.
