Prosperity Challenge Prologue

Once Upon A Time an alien spacecraft touched down on Crescent Island laying waste to all homes on the island, including their inhabitants. Soon a massive project was underway to try and rebuild the island, starting with the business district.


Six identical modular homes were placed down and a few brave families were quick to snatch up the prime real estate while they had the chance. The project committee wanted to put these first families on a test run just to see if there were any lasting repercussions from living on the island after the alien attack so they stopped after building the initial six homes.



The first family to move to the island was a young married couple, Lyndsey and Dorian Lind.

Above all Lyndsey wanted to be popular and in her mind the best way to achieve that goal would be to become a celebrity chef. Crescent Island seemed ideally suited for such a thing because it was bound to quickly become a booming metropolis like it was in the recent past. She is a Libra and likes formal wear and plant people and dislikes anyone with black hair. Will she be able to land her dream job and befriend the new neighbors that way?

Dorian was more than happy to go along with his wife. He was interested in finding out more about what happened and secretly he hoped that he would get a chance to meet these "aliens". More than just a tad on the eccentric side, Dorian wanted to become a mad scientist. He is a Capricorn and dislikes silly frivolous things like formal wear but he has a major thing for fit women with black hair. It makes one wonder why he married his redheaded wife. Does he truly love her or is he just using their marriage as an excuse to live on the island so he can perform his experiments?



The Follord family was the second family to move to the island. Maria and Magnus are the matriarch and patriarch of the family. It was always their dream to live there when they were young and first married but they could never afford one of the overpriced houses.

Magnus is an Aquarius who wants twenty best friends more than anything else in the world. Will he be able to accomplish this in the limited time he has in his elder years? His dream girl is a plant Sim who is a really good cook and most definitely not a werewolf.

Maria is a Libra and she also thinks being popular would be pretty good, but what she really wants is to own five of the new businesses on the island and have them all be booming successes. It seems extremely unlikely she'll be able to accomplish that, however. Does she have a chance at her dream? Her dream Sim is a zombie with facial hair who does not smell bad!

Their son Angus and his wife Nina hope to make a happy home for their young daughter, Dorris on the island. Angus is a bit of a ladies man and has to quell his desire to romance everything in site. Perhaps here on the island he'll be more able to focus on his family rather than anything female that moves. He decided that channeling his energy to become a celebrity chef just might be enough to keep him distracted. He is a Pisces and his dream girl is someone who wears swim wear and hats and is definitely not a brunette.

Nina wants to be a top journalist and report the knowledge she learns about what happens on the island to the world. All eyes and ears will be watching and listening for news and she wants to be the one to give it! She is a Sagittarius who likes blonde or brown hair and dislikes swim wear.

Dorrian is an Aries and all she wants is to spend time with her family and hopefully make a few new friends to play with here at the island. She's looking forward to living in her new home since her grandparents have raved since she was born about it.



The third "family" to move to the island is the Knaggs family. Ned is a Leo who would love to start a family. He'd like to meet someone who is both charismatic and a hard worker, preferably not a blonde. What he'd like most out of life is to have six grandkids. Will he meet the right Sim here at Crescent Island who wants to settle down with him and start a family?



The Todd family is the fourth to settle on the island. Rick and his twins, Zoey and Paolo, moved here after Rick's divorce. His ex ran off with another Sim and Rick really wanted a new start for himself and his children away from the bad memories.

Rick is a Pisces who has always dreamed of making lots of money being a Business Tycoon. He dreams of meeting a nice plant Sim who wears cologne and is preferably not on the larger side of the scale. Did he leave his troubles behind him when he moved to Crescent Island?

Zoey and Paolo are both Cancer and all they want is to spend loads of time with their daddy. They don't really care where there are as long as they are with him.



The next family to move in was the Jacobs family. Maud is very family oriented and wanted to get out of the smoggy city and have a nice place with fresh green grass for her girls to play in. She has been a single mom ever since her husband died in an automobile accident. As a result she's always wanted to save the world by becoming Captain Hero. She is a Taurus and likes custom hair, makeup, and dislikes brown hair. Will she be able to raise her daughters and also achieve her dream?

Lois is a Scorpio. She doesn't really remember her father. He died when her mother was still pregnant with her little sister, Rachael. Lois loves school, travel, and playing with her toys. Rachael is an Aries and she likes animals and travel.



The last family to move to the island is the Graul family. They're rather an odd bunch! Sebastian is the patriarch of the family. He is a Leo and likes stinky robots that are not werewolves. He really wants to have twenty best friends and he hopes that the island will be the ideal place for that to be possible in his declining years.

Vladimir, his son, is more family oriented. He'd love to save the world, provided it doesn't interfere with him raising his children of course! He is a Scorpio and likes werewolf robots that are not physically fit.

Kiana is a Leo and also very family oriented and really wants to graduate three children from college. She likes boys who have brown hair and wear makeup that do not suffer from Zombism. Will she meet someone like that in her new neighborhood?

Shayla is a Leo like her big sister. Even at her young age she is concerned about the environment and how it is affecting the animals and everyone's ability to travel and play sports. What will the future hold for her?
