Paolo isn't quite sure what his father is doing to his twin sister but he takes the opportunity to flee the scene in case he is next!

Rick watches as the strangest looking Nanny he's ever seen shows up to care for his children while he is away at work.

Paolo doesn't seem to mind her wild red hair. Zoey just wants her turn at being snuggled!

Rick's attempts to pet a wandering skunk were less than successful to say the least.

Snuggling Paolo is much better anyway!

Zoey takes advantage of his distraction to go play with her favorite toy.

Rick takes some time to chat with the nanny. He thinks that it's important to take an interest in the person who spends so much time with his children.

It's only logical to assume that it's birthday time for Paolo!

Although choosing swim wear as an everyday outfit is most definitely not logical at all...

Zoey cares more about her cute dress than all that logic stuff anyway.

But she definitely needed a new 'do.

Trying to balance his obsession with work with the importance of spending time with his demanding children forces Rick to use whatever method he can to cram everything into his day, even if it means no sleep.

Looks like poor Paolo didn't quite make it. Zoey isn't quite sure she wanted to know that much detail about her brothers bathroom habits.

Rick has to eat twice as much food as most Sims due to the fact that most of what he eats winds up on the floor and not in his stomach.

Paolo tells Zoey a rather upsetting story about how everyone who used to live on Crescent Island turned into mummies.

Paolo waits his turn as Rick teaches Zoey how to study.

Rick manages to teach them both without too much of a problem and he also got a promotion to executive in his office that day as well!

Lyndsey Lind, friend and neighbor, stops by quite often for a visit and a bite to eat.

Zoey plays with a schoolmate, Lois Jacobs. Paolo brought a friend home as well but he quickly got distracted by other things and didn't play with him.

Zoey is glad that she studied up on cooking since Nanny rarely cooks them anything to eat now that they've grown up a bit.

Paolo isn't quite as good at muffin making as his sister, but at least he didn't starve.

All those promotions at Rick's office are filling the family coffers so they did a little remodeling. It might make the kitchen smaller, but it's still big enough to fill their needs and extending the hallway really made a big difference in the layout of the home.

On occasion Rick does manage to squeeze some time in for his kids.

They always make a point to have breakfast together on weekends.

Rick ponders whether to get his kids a puppy or not. He isn't quite sure if he wants the extra expense but they've been asking for one for ages and it wouldn't hurt to spoil them a little.
