Kiana did not want to wait for life to begin and just get by every day until she found love so she spent some of her families hard earned money on a wishing well and wished for love. Out of the sky fell Jack, one of the local college students.

It was love at first kiss!

She proposed right away and the family set up a fancy wedding party for the happy couple.

All their family and friends gathered around to watch the beautiful ceremony.

They cheered them on

and toasted the bride.

And had a nice wedding feast.

The evening was rounded off with the traditional cutting of the wedding cake.

Followed by the honeymoon limo whisking them away!

Kiana's hubby, Jack, took her last name. He is a family Sim who wants nothing more than loads of grandchildren so he was happy to drop out of college to be with Kiana. He brought some money with him when he moved in.

They did some renovations with his funds in preparations for their hopefully soon to be expanding family.

After the wedding Shayla did a little gardening in her formal dress...the only true way to garden well.

The wedding night was rather productive.

Wanting to support his wife and any children they might have together Jack got a job right away.

But was fired his first day on the job. Politics was definitely not for him.

He sat down with Vladimir for a nice game of chess. For amusement, Vlad told Jack about how their dearly departed Sebastian used to wear his wife's shoes in secret at night ever since she passed.

Jack was very happy when he found out for certain that their wedding night activities were so fruitful.

He started looking for another job again right away and found a position working for a local newspaper.

Vlad took some time out to train Duke, not wanting him to feel neglected.

Jack kept concentrating on his chess game, hoping it would help him out later in his career so he could support his family better.

Shayla told them one day at dinner how she wanted to decorate the nursery with an airplane theme and was disappointed when they told her that the baby would be sleeping in Kiana and Jacks room.

Before they knew it, the day of the little bundle's arrival was upon them.

The new parents gazed lovingly at their tiny little son, Dylan. Jack was thrilled that his little one shared his brown hair.

Shayla was the first one after the parents to hold little Dylan. She considered it a special privilege.

The next morning Kiana warned Shayla off from telling Dylan any scary bedtime stories. The last thing he wanted was for little Dylan to be terrified to sleep with tales of ghosts every night.

Grandpa Vlad was always glad when it was his turn to feed Dylan. He loved every moment he was able to spend with his grandson.

But Vlad still tried to take time to focus on Shayla. He didn't want her to feel left out with all the attention Kiana and Dylan were getting.

The years passed by quickly and Dylan hit his toddler years.

Vlad apparently didn't want him to grow up, "This stinks!" he shouted during the birthday party.

The first thing he did was start the little tyke on potty training. The sooner they got all the nappy changing business behind them the better.

Then he started teaching him to walk.

And to talk.

But one night he was heading outside to pay the bills and he caught Shayla trying to sneak in! She had ran off with some boy for the night doing who knows what. He gave her a very stern lecture on the proper behavior of a nice young lady and said she was grounded.
