The Todd Family Part Two

Rick finally made a decision on the pet issue, he got the family a kitten since they are lower maintenance than a dog. It was dropped off while the kids were in bed asleep. He really wanted them to wake up to a really nice surprise.


Paolo was the first to discover the kitten the next morning. He named her Piper.


But Zoey found her not too long after Paolo did, it was love at first sight!


When not playing with the new kitten, they loved to tell secrets about the neighbors.


Rick's girlfriend came over quite a bit. Sometimes he got the feeling that she wanted things to get much more serious than he was interested in taking things.


But he'd typically stop her from leading up to such things when they talked by silencing her with a kiss.


Before they knew it, it was time for Paolo and Zoey to have a birthday.


They all gathered around for a small celebration but no one really wanted a party or cake.


Zoey chose a nice dress and some sensible makeup. She decided more than anything she liked learning and was extremely interested in journalism.


Paolo just tossed on his childhood outfit in a larger size. He also was very interested in filling his mind with as much information as possible, but he was interested in it for it's educational value because he wanted to teach others everything he learned.


They took turns preparing meals for the family.


Though Paolo wasn't sure if he grabbed salt or sugar when he put things in his casserole.


Piper grew up into a very gorgeous kitty.


But her choice of what to sharpen her claws on wasn't the best.


Zoey and Piper really developed a close bond.


Paolo decided that the most efficient use of his time was to make a new friend over a nice game of chess.


But all Zoey did was spend her time with Piper.


And on rare occasion they managed to grab a bite to eat together.


But Rick started to really crack down on Piper's tendency to use anything and everything except her scratching post to sharpen her claws on.


Somehow he managed to squeeze in some time for studying up on the things he needed to know for work. He steadily worked his way up the career ladder towards his lifetime dream of becoming a business tycoon.
